Are Viruses alive or Not

It think that there are alive because when they go into your body they would have to come out from somewhere in your body and they can't get out if they are not alive because they need food and we are there food for them.They would come from something or somewhere and they would come into your body and try to kill all of your cells. They would come in and then avuncular they would come out from some place. So that i think that they are alive.
